How to borrow

A library card is necessary.
A library card can be issued at every counter on the first floor (Children’s Reading Room, Newspaper and Magazine Counter, or Audio-Visual Counter) and second floor ( Humanities or Reference Counter). To apply for a library card you will have to show some ID such as your health insurance card, driver’s license, student ID, etc. You will then be able to get your library card and borrow materials for the first time.
Please bring the materials which you want to borrow to the Circulation Counter.

The number of materials you can borrow is as follows:

There are some reference materials that can only be used for research in the library.
