Hall

Equipped with an AV system, the hall is suitable for various events including lectures, symposia, movie viewings, concerts etc. It becomes a reading room when there is no event going on. (Screen width 260 inches.)

Humanities Area

Books of the fields of philosophy, religion, history, social science, arts, sports, language study and literature are located here. Bestsellers and large-print books are at the entrance. Large- format art-related books are in the back of the east side and loose-leaf materials on law, etc., are in the back of the west side.

Natural Science Area

General books (those notbelonging to a specific subject, like encyclopedias), and books on natural science and technology as well as industry are available here. Also, local collections for leading are near the entrance, foreign language materials and large-format books (except art-related) are in the side.

Reference Counter

A research librarian is available to help with research and questions about the collections.
